It hasn't been an easy start to the new year for Madonna and that's probably why she's looking to some old friends for support. The Material Mom was first rumored to have rekindled her relationship with ex-husband Sean Penn and now there's a new report that says she's been leaning on her old pal Rosie O'Donnell for support, as the two have been bonding over the trouble they are having raising their teenaged kids.

According to Naughty Gossip on Tuesday, Madonna and Rosie - who haven't spoken to each other in years - have become very close and are talking on a daily basis now. The old friends have gotten very close as they are struggling with motherhood right now.

Many reports indicate that Madonna's 15-year-old son Rocco Ritchie is trying to live full-time with his father Guy Ritchie in London right now. Rosie went through a similar experience with her adopted daughter Chelsea ran away for two weeks back in August.

A source close to both women dished, "They've been very close lately because of their kids," said a source. "They were originally great friends because their mothers both died at an early age; now they're talking every day about their kids."

While Rocco hasn't made any public comments about his famous mother, he did block her from his Instagram account before deleting it completely. Chelsea on the other hand spoke up about her troubles with her famous mother, stating that Rosie is "a completely different person in public than at home."
