A year after the sudden death of famed singer Whitney Houston, a new report suggests that her daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown might be pregnant and suicidal.

Brown, 19, has family members deeply concerned about her mental state because she has been "suffering (from) deep depression," an insider revealed to the National Enquirer.

Brown went public about her romantic relationship with Houston's informally adopted son, Nick Gordon, shortly after her mother's death. The family insider added that her family things she might be pregnant by him, saying, "For weeks she's been looking like she's pregnant, and it's a big worry because she has gone off the rails again, suffering deep depression."

The Houston family initially disapproved of Brown's relationship with Gordon and spoke about it last year on their reality show, TLC's The Houstons: On Our Own. They have since changed their tune- they think it is best that Gordon, 23, lives with Brown to ensure that "Krissi" is mentally stable.

"Even though they initially didn't approve of Nick when he and Krissi first got together, they now want him back in her life to keep her under control," the insider said. "They know he is about the only person who has a calming effect on her. He's very protective of her and can hopefully keep her from self-destructing."

The couple was raised as siblings. They ended their romantic relationship in November of 2012 but at the request of the family reconciled so Gordon could help refrain Brown from her old partying ways.

"They broke up in November," said a family friend. "But now her grandma Cissy and her uncle Gary and aunt Pat (Houston) decided they had to encourage the relationship because Krissi listens to Nick. They're just hoping he can keep her from returning to the party life."

Brown's depression stems from mourning over the loss of her mother whom she was very close to. At times, Brown displayed fits of anger when she was offered help from family members, added the source.

"Krissi is still crying over her mother and can't believe she's gone," a family friend said. "And as the anniversary of Whitney's death got closer, she got more and more upset. She'd be fine one minute and then would fly into a rage over the smallest thing."

The source added, "When anyone tried to help her, she would either burst into tears or get angry and say, 'I don't need any help. Stay away from me!' Her family fears if she gets the chance, she could take her life to be with her mother again."

Brown's rep told the publication she is neither pregnant nor suicidal.

The same newspaper revealed in 2008 that Brown attempted to take her own life after an argument with her mother. Brown was reportedly so hot-tempered over the quarrel that she tried to stab her famous mother and slit her own wrists with a razor blade.
