After spending some time in jail for allegedly being intoxicated and hit a bouncer and a close friend of the singer head butted another employee inside a bar at Hog's Breath Saloon in Key West, Fla. He was finally free last Jan. 14, Thursday, Us Weekly reveals.

“I’m just a guy trying to enjoy some vacation time down here in Key West, and the truth will come out,” Carter told TMZ while getting into a taxi van.

According to reports, Carter was involved in a drunken altercation at popular Key West bar, The Hog's Breath Saloon, after a bartender refused to serve him. Per police reports, Carter and his friend were “highly intoxicated” and got aggressive, allegedly punching a bouncer.

In a video captured during the incident, the singer was heard explaining: "My name is Nick Carter from the Backstreet Boys. I'm a f**king singer," Carter told the police officer. He then said that he only wanted "a couple of drinks" and then yelled, "I wanted to sing! That's all I wanted to do. I wanted to go on the microphone and sing."

Meanwhile, TMZ also reveals that the Backstreet Boys singer had a few words for reporters after he was arraigned in Key West. When he was released Thursday afternoon he said, "The truth will come out."
