What's the current status of Reign being canceled or renewed?

Chatter On Elizabeth's Shocking Discovery On 'Reign'

The series is in the third season with questions back and forth if it'll survive long enough to have a fourth season this fall. In Tuesday's report from TV By The Numbers, an answer wasn't fully given.

As it turns out, the show is still pretty much at a 50/50 chance of returning or leaving. It's at 0.31 in the 18-49 rating and at 0.48 for the renew/cancel index. So the odds aren't great, but they're not terrible either.

Is 'Reign' 'Likely' Going To Be Canceled?

Another show on The CW that stands in the same category is Jane the Virgin. If ratings improve, then both of these programs could potentially stick around, but no one should get too excited yet.

Unfortunately, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend is still not doing too hot and has less a chance of being renewed.

Fans of these other shows might however want to get excited since these ones are more than likely to get another season. This includes Supernatural, The Flash, The Originals, iZombie, Arrow and The Vampire Diaries.

Fans should get an official answer hopefully by May.

As for what's to come on the remaining season of the royal drama, Adelaide Kane (Mary) previously told The Reel Spin what viewers can expect.

"It's going to be a whole new world, it's gonna be new people and cast," Kane revealed. "We're going to keep the court in England, and we're going to keep the court in France as well. It's going to end up being a three pronged show...bigger and badder than ever."

Reign airs on Fridays at 8 p.m. ET on The CW.
