Hamilton stars are set to guest on the next episode of season 17 of Law & Order: SVU and first look stills have also been unveiled.

Showrunner Dishes About Rollins And Carisi Coupling Up  

Anthony Ramos and Daveed Diggs, both stars of the current hit Broadway musical Hamilton, are set to play parts in the episode, titled 'Forty-One Witnesses.' According to an Entertainment Weekly report, Diggs will reprise his role as defense counsel Louis Henderson and Ramos will play a man accused of rape.

Diggs even posted a picture from the set of the show with Raul Esparaza and Ramos on his Instagram account:

The preview of the episode reveals that this time around the problem for the team is a rather unique one, all the witnesses are unwilling to comply, claiming they didn't see anything. As Olvia and the team try to solve a crime of rape, all the residents of the building, many of whom could help with evidence, stay silent.

Looking at the apartment complex, Benson is surprised at how everybody claims they saw nothing.

"There's a hundred windows up there," she says. "Somebody saw something."

In other news related to the show, Hargitay spoke to TVLine about wearing the director's hat for two episodes on the show. So fans can look out for some more of that insightful Hargitay vision on the series. Hargitay told the publication that she was very passionate about directing and is getting better at it.

"I certainly knew I wanted to direct again. It's great to have a few under my belt now; the other side of the camera is starting to feel more familiar," she said. "I went into the season knowing I didn't just want to direct one [installment] like the previous seasons, but that I'd challenge myself and try to direct two. 'A Misunderstanding' is the first of the season. I love directing, and feel the same way I did when I first fell in love with acting. Much the same way, it felt very natural and organic to me."

'Forty-one Witnesses' is set to air on February 3 on NBC.
