Teresa Giudice of Bravo's The Real Housewives of New Jersey  is facing a little more than house arrest after her highly anticipated release from jail last year.

It has been a little more than a month since Giudice became a free woman—at least out of jail, that is. But the authorities are still making sure she doesn’t do certain activities until her sentence is officially over in early February.

It turns out that not only is she on house arrest, but Giudice is not allowed to drink any alcohol at any time, even when she is at home.

“Not even a glass of wine,” a source confirmed early Tuesday.

But it isn’t all bad if Giudice wants to enjoy herself.

“She is allowed to go to parties where alcohol will be served, but has to get approval from her probation officer.”

This even held true for Giudice’s sister-in-law and co-star, Melissa Gorga’s recent event.

“Ahead of attending Melissa’s boutique opening last week, Teresa informed her probation officer that alcohol would be served. She was given the go-ahead.”

She also has to ask permission before she even does small tasks, like going out to eat.

But it looks like Giudice is doing all she can to cooperate with the remaining terms of her sentence.

“Going to a restaurant that serves booze also requires approval. Teresa doesn’t mind it because she is just grateful to be home with the family. The probation officer and Teresa are in constant communication daily. Her schedule is also provided to the official.”

Teresa has been said to be focusing on the positives since her release.
