Reality star Lisa Vanderpump took to Twitter on Tuesday to deny any rumors that her spin-off show Vanderpump Rules is cancelled.

The Bravo show aired the final episode of its first season on Monday and since then many speculated that because there were only eight episodes, Rules might not return for a second season. Vanderpump, however, addressed the issue by posting on her Twitter account, "vdp rules is not cancelled! It is just the end of our first season, but juicy reunion next week."

Rules followed the lives of Vanderpump's employees at her SUR restaurant in California. The story lines of the young cast members included makeups, breakups, tears and wild parties. The show aired on Mondays following new episodes of the reality series Vanderpump is a standard cast member of: The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

Examiner noted that it is common for new Bravo shows to have only eight episodes during its first season, adding that such was the case for all of The Real Housewives shows.

In the last episode of Rules SUR bartender Jax Taylor finally admitted to having an affair with a waitress in Las Vegas while dating fellow employee Stassi Schroeder, which left everyone at the restaurant questioning his friendship.

In a Bravo blog, Schroeder said his confession "was one of the most heartbreaking moments" of her life.

"I spent the whole summer being the only one to believe he cheated, and to finally hear him admit it was just insane," she added. "I was going through so many different emotions, I was angry, sad, anxious, yet at the same time I had a feeling of vindication.

Throughout the season none of Schroeder's friends believed Taylor cheated on her and Schoeder said, "I had the loneliest summer of my life and finally I was getting some justification."
