We always knew Gwyneth Paltrow likes to keep things in the family, but who knew it would ever result to this. Apparently, things are so good between Paltrow and her ex-husband Chris Martin that she's now telling the press that he's like a "brother" to her.

In a new interview with Glamour Magazine's print edition this month, the Hollywood star says that even though she and Martin broke up several years ago, the two are still very much like family, considering the fact that they are co-parenting their children Apple and Moses together.

She said, "We spend a lot of time together. He's been away for two weeks [promoting his album]. Last night he got in at midnight and slept here so he could surprise the kids in the morning, we could all have breakfast, and he could take them to school."

Paltrow also said that while they are not living under the same roof, they still function like they do.

She added, "'So ... we're not living together, but he's more than welcome to be with us whenever he wants. And vice versa: I sleep in his house in Malibu a lot with the kids. We're still very much a family, even though we don't have a romantic relationship. He's like my brother.''

So far, no word on whether or not Martin thinks of his ex-wife like his "sister."
