In a new candid interview, the 38-year-old Brit admits that while their divorce was definitely one of the more difficult moments of his life, he and Paltrow have managed to move on and stay friends. And now it looks like they are closer than ever.

"I have a very wonderful separation-divorce. It's a divorce - but it's a weird one... I don't think about that word [divorce] very often... I don't see it that way. I see it as more like you meet someone, you have some time together and things just move through," the Coldplay frontman told Rolling Stone.

Paltrow meanwhile has nothing but kind words for her ex-husband and even likening him to a sibling.

"We spend a lot of time together... We're not living together, but he's more than welcome to be with [me and the kids] whenever he wants... We're still very much a family, even though we don't have a romantic relationship. He's like my brother," she said.
