It looks like the worst thing to happen to Tori's marriage also happened to be the best, too. The former Hollywood actress says that having her husband Dean McDermott cheat on her nearly two years ago has definitely benefited their marriage in the long wrong.

According to Naughty Gossip, in a new interview with Khloe Kardashian on her talk show, Kocktails with Khloe, she says that her husband's infidelity helped bring them closer together.

She explained, "Because we had to start over. The relationship was just broken into a million pieces."

Spelling also says that she's gotten her fair share of criticism and support from fans who think she should have divorced McDermott and started a life of her own.

The mother-of-four said, "There's people who are like, 'Wow that's so great you stuck by him and worked through it,' and there's other people who are like, 'He's a cheater and I can't believe you wouldn't leave him. [Others said], 'Oh it's because of the children. I did have to account for the children, of course, but I also had to account for the love that I had for this man and the relationship that we had [and] the life we had together."

But in the long run it looks like it worked out for the best.

She added, "We have now more of an open communication and relationship than we've ever had before."
