The Marys are back for season five of Mary Mary on WeTV and the drama picks up right where they left off.

Erica and Tina Campbell are still arguing about when they will return to the studio as Mary Mary after they both had successful solo careers.

Erica’s husband, Warren, is feeling pressure from the label, Sony, for them to come out with a new project. But Tina is still unbothered. She basically said that since Warren got the duo into this mess by promising another project, he can figure out how to get them out of it. She added she’ll do the album when her schedule is not so busy.

Erica stands by her husband, who reveals the deal could cost him millions.

She reminds Tina that she vowed to the fans they would have a new project sooner than later. Tina said it will happen “when it’s time.”

Warren steps in and tells Tina that if they don’t come out with a new project, they’ll have to give Sony their money back. So he takes drastic measures and threatens to “fire” Tina before suggesting they “cast a new Mary Mary.”

But Tina knows “there will never be another Mary Mary.”

As if right on cue, the duo’s former manager Mitch comes back into the picture with a potential new artist for Warren to work with.

Warren’s health also takes a toll through all of it.
