Despite rumors circulating that Elisabeth Hassebeck's contract for The View wouldn't be renewed, Hasselbeck is not leaving the show.

Barbara Walters said on The View that Hasselbeck's opinion is valued among the panel and reiterated that she is going to stay.

Walters said on The View, "The truth is we love Elisabeth... but beyond that, we value and appreciate her point of view. It's important to us because Elisabeth helps give this show perspective and balance."

However, comedian Joy Behar is still definitely leaving the show after filming ends in August and is so far the only one leaving.

On the same episode of The View, in true Behar comedic form, she listed the 10 reasons why she is leaving the show. Her No. 1 reason was so that she could go a week without wearing a bra.

Behar also poked fun at chicken pox, saying she was afraid to stay on the show and risk contracting a childhood disease. Walters got the chicken pox from actor Frank Langella in January after sharing a New Year's Eve kiss on the cheek, according to The Los Angeles Times.
