Justin Bieber's Believe tourmate Carley Rae Jepsen said to MTV News on March 9 that despite recent setbacks and a hospital visit, the 19-year-old Beauty and a Beat has been doing just find.

The Call Me Maybe singer said Bieber has been a "trouper" throughout his recent struggles and continues to act like a professional, moving on to perform as part of his world tour.

"If there's anybody who I think can pull off what it means to be a professional performer, it's Justin," Jepsen said, "because, yeah, it was chaotic week, but he sang even when he was feeling kind of like light of breath and showed us that old saying 'The show must go on' is really true."

She ended by saying, "So, I'm proud of him."

Jepsen's comments follow a chaotic week Bieber had. He started his March 4 concert late and by the time the show started attendees said organizers cut nearly a half hour of the show. Some concertgoers expressed their frustration via Twitter and the following day, Tuesday, Bieber took to the social media website to apologize for the concert delay. He blamed it on "technical issues."

On March 7, Bieber was taken backstage during a London concert of his and his manager, Scooter Braun, said the singer was feeling "very low of breath" throughout the show. Bieber was treated backstage by medical personnel, who supplied him with oxygen, and when the concert ended he was taken to the hospital. On March 8 he had a confrontation with a photographer outside of his London hotel, which was caught on video, and on Monday one of his planned concerts in Portugal was cancelled.

Jepsen continued to talk about her tour with Bieber and said "Luckily, I am touring with people who I consider my dearest friends, my bandmates, my brothers. And, the whole team that I'm traveling with are just good people, good hard-working people."
