It was not the best end to the Lakers' 96-92 loss against the Atlanta Hawks Wednesday night. Kobe Bryant sprained his left ankle during the game and will be out indefinitely, according to USA Today. (Watch the Video Below)

Bryant called the injury the "worst sprain since 2000." He was injured on the Lakers final shot of the game as Dahntay Jones contested a baseline jumper.

"#dangerousplay that should have been called. Period," wrote Bryant on his Twitter.

"I have the utmost respect for @kobebryant I would never try to intentionally hurt him. Just wanted to contest the fadeaway #thatsall," responded Hawks' Dahntay Jones on Twitter after midnight.

Jones claimed on Twitter that Bryant's ankle was turned on the floor after the leg kick out that knocked him off balance.
