It was recently revealed that two new cast members will be joining Season 4 of House of Cards.

Hillary Clinton Thinks House of Cards Is 'Bad TV'?

Around the time of the unveiling of the first official trailer for this chapter it was also revealed that Ellen Burstyn will be playing the part of Claire Underwood's (Robin Wright) mother. Cicely Tyson is also set to join the series as a Congreswoman of importance. The news of Burstyn portraying Claire's mother is definitely very exciting, and it seems like the actress will fit right into the dark and broody world of the Underwoods.

The show has added more interesting cast members. Neve Campbell, Joel Kinnaman and Colm Feore will also be starring in Season 4. Little is known about each of their characters so far.

Deadline had hinted that Cambell's character might rival Frank (Kevin Spacey) in the next chapter. This fits in with another spoiler relating to a younger power couple being introduced in the Netflix political drama,

Feore--best known for his work on Utopia--will also be joining the show and will be portraying a high profile character in the White House. It is not known if he will be a collaborator of Frank (Kevin Spacey) or a threatening figure for the president.

Season 4 of House of Cards is set to return on March 4.
