The 2016 reboot/sequel of Ghostbusters has a new trailer.

Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones (a.k.a. some of comedy's funniest women) team up to bust ghosts in the new Ghostbusters trailer. The trailer features title cards that reveal the movie as taking place several decades after the events of the first one.

McCarthy, Wiig and McKinnon's characters are a team of investigators, while Jones' character is a street-wise woman who later joins the force.

The movie has had its fair share of criticism simply due to its very existence. Go to any Internet board discussing the movie and you'll see commenters saying it's ruining a childhood classic, while others don't like that it's an all-female reboot.

However, original Ghostbusters star Ernie Hudson has praised the cast highly.

"They're extraordinarily funny and there's a great chemistry with them," he said in a People interview recently. "I think it's going to be very good. The script I knew was good. I knew the special effects would be amazing. But I was really pleasantly surprised to see how the women kind of gelled together."

Hudson, as well as original stars Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Sigourney Weaver and Annie Potts, all have cameo appearances in the new film.

Other stars include Chris Hemsworth, Cecily Strong, Neil Casey, Andy Garcia, Michael K. Williams, Elizabeth Perkins, Charles Dance and Matt Walsh.

Ghostbusters will be released in theaters on July 15.
