When it comes to the Duggar family, it looks like their cousin Amy Duggar is the only person fans can really relate to when it comes to the reality television stars. In fact, the outspoken brunette recently revealed that while she enjoys living a "normal life" as opposed to what fans see on television with the Duggars, she also has to keep their distance away from them.

According to Wetpaint on Tuesday, Amy revealed that she apparently isn't "allowed" to influence her female cousins, which include Jill and Jessa Duggar. Even though the ladies see each other during family events, they are not as close as you'd think them to be.

Just recently Amy answered fan questions on her social media accounts, including one about the girls in the Duggar family.

"I have a question for you. Since your cousins don't watch t.v., do they ever come over to your house and stay for a night?" one fan asked the reality star on Instagram.

Amy proceeded to answer the question with, "Hey there! we've had a girls night before and have gone out to eat. It's a rule though that if I want to spend quality time with them I have to come see them."

She continued, "They don't want me to influence them. So I respect their standards and I don't fuss about it."
