Heidi Montag is about to get even more emotional in her next reality show appearance.

Heidi Montag Explains Her 'Lowest Point' On 'Mother/Daughter Experiment'

In a sneak peek of The Mother/Daughter Experiment: Celebrity Edition released on Monday, Montag is presented with a strange yet frightening opportunity to tell her mom, Darlene Egelhoff, how she really feels.

A fake tombstone that's meant for her mother is placed in front of her as Montag lets the idea sink in that one day her mom won't be around anymore. So this is the time for the daughter to let it all out. And she does.

"I'm sorry. I'm so, so sorry," Montag says in an emotional rant. "I feel like I hurt you the most of anyone in your life. I'm sorry. I didn't mean to. I really didn't."

Egelhoff is watching the moment as her own tears start to come out while seeing her daughter in a sobbing state.

"I was just so self-involved," Montag says through tears. "I had so much going on and I was so confused. And I never wanted that to happen with you. I'm sorry I let a day go by when I didn't call you. I'm so sorry."

Montag and her mother had a rough relationship when Egelhoff reportedly didn't approve of her daughter's cosmetic procedures.

The Mother/Daughter Experiment: Celebrity Edition airs on Tuesdays at 10 p.m. ET on Lifetime.
