Olivia Newton-John's missing lover has reportedly been found.

According to Tuesday's report from Women's Day, the actress's former partner Patrick McDermott, who vanished in 2005 during a fishing trip, is still alive.

After being missing for 11 years, detectives believe that McDermott is in a remote area in Mexico where it's being speculated that he's with a new woman.

Private investigator Philip Klein claims that the formerly missing man is now working in an isolated Mexican village.

"Patrick's probably now working in the yachting industry for a high-profile family down there," Klein said.

Detective John Nazarian also pointed out that the situation may not have been that serious where he gave his thoughts that McDermott is with a German woman.

"It's rumored he was with a German national," Nazarian mentioned. "I spoke to people there [in Mexico]. The girl he was traveling with was described as having a German accent. To come up with the conclusion that he fell off the boat, and allegedly no one saw him fall off the boat, is the most preposterous thing I've ever heard in my life."

Newton-John married her husband John Easterling in 2008.

Back in 2006, the actress spoke to People on how she continued her life and the grief she went through over her missing lover.

"I loved him a lot and I miss him a lot," she told the publication. "He was the most romantic person I have ever known."

The two were reportedly together for eight years.
