Tiger Woods has reportedly been open with his girlfriend, Olympic Skier Lindsey Vonn, when it comes to his troubled past regarding his sex scandal.

Woods, 37, and his ex-wife Elin Nordegren divorced in 2010 after he confessed to cheating on her.

However, a source told People that Vonn, 28, is not concerned and that the golf pro makes her happy. "She isn't concerned what others think. She trusts her instincts. She is very comfortable with the relationship," the source who is friend's with Vonn said.

A friend of Woods also told the magazine that he has been honest with Vonn about the scandal that ended his marriage with the former Swedish model. Woods had to go to rehab for sex addiction for 45 days.

The source told the magazine, "They have sat down and talked it out more than once. He has explained his side and owned up to what he did wrong. He has been honest with her. She's not freaked out by his past."

Woods spoke out about why he went public with the Vonn relationship and said, "Well it's very simple, we're happy," according to ABC. This is the first time Woods spoke about a relationship since his divorce with Nordegren.
