Matt Bomer is ready for anything to come his way in the upcoming sixth season of FX's American Horror Story.

Bomer appeared with his AHS co-stars at PaleyFest this past Sunday to discuss the most recent season, Hotel.

The actor also spoke with PopSugar on the red carpet and was asked what he wants to see in season 6.

"I would just say to [showrunner] Ryan [Murphy], 'Whatever the craziest weirdest, most out there bizarre thing you can think of in your brilliant mind, let's do it,'" Bomer said.

Bomer does not know anything about the new season, but Murphy did say during the PaleyFest panel that all of the stars in attendance "can come back" for season 6, so it sounds like he's going to be officially returning. This includes Sarah Paulson, Angela Bassett, Kathy Bates, Denis O'Hare, Wes Bentley, Finn Wittrock, Chloë Sevigny and Cheyenne Jackson.

As for what concept he would like to see the show tackle that they haven't before, Bomer had a fresh, new idea.

"Sharks? Jaws? Maybe like castaways on a desert island and there can be sharks in that and a whole Lord of the Flies thing," he suggested.

The concept for season 6 has yet to be announced, though Murphy did say at PaleyFest that he's narrowed it down to two ideas. He added that both feature children in some way.

"If you look at horror tropes, the innocence of children, that sort of wide-eyed entryway into some world is always very dramatic and satisfying," he noted.

Murphy would then liken American Horror Story to an opera, noting, "I think both of the things we're writing right now will have a certain feel. But, I think I know what the winner is."

Very little else has been revealed about the upcoming season, though Bassett did previously indicate that she would be playing a psychic with a drinking problem.

American Horror Story season 6 premieres this fall on FX.
