Matt Barnes, Derek Fisher, Gloria Govan: She Gushes About Fisher While Her Estranged Husband Takes Another Jab [VIDEO]

Former Basketball Wives LA star Gloria Govan has broken her silence after her estranged husband, NBA player Matt Barnes fought her new man, his former teammate, Derek Fisher and caused a huge feud on social media and in reality.

Hip Hollywood spoke with Govan at the premiere for the Meet The Blacks movie earlier this week. And interestingly enough, Fisher was her date. This was the first public appearance for the couple. Govan made it clear she doesn’t believe she is the reason Fisher was fired as the New York Knicks coach amid all of his drama with Barnes.

“I mean I hope not,” she joked. “I mean it’s just business. It’s not really anything personal. I know I kinda got the Kim Kardashian curse you got one man down…”

She then spoke on the obvious beef between the two guys and said, “It takes a lot of patience. I have to pull a lot of my strength from my relationship with God.”

She added that it’s important for her and and Barnes’ children to keep their relationship with Barnes as well.

As for Barnes, he’s firing his own shots at Fisher on Instagram. He shared a meme that referenced Los Angeles Lakers player D’Angelo Russell possibly leaking a video of his teammate Nick Young talking about cheating on his fiancé, Iggy Azalea.

But Govan said Fisher is always there for her.

“Derek is really supportive. He really helps…”

She went on to add that fans shouldn’t expect to hear any wedding bells for them “no time soon.”

But you might see them on your small screen if they happen to snag a reality show.

It’s no secret that Govan has had her share of backlash from fans after all of the drama. She said that while her Internet trolls, “don’t understand” the impact their comments really have, her twin boys help keep her grounded. She referenced the recent drama with singer Kehlani, who said she attempted suicide after she got accused of cheating on her ex-boyfriend Kyrie Irving, with her other ex, PARTYNEXTDOOR.
