It seems like things aren't going too terribly for Katrina Kaif and Ranbir Kapoor amid their rumored break-up.

It's been speculated for some time now that the Bollywood stars called it quits in their romance, but ever since, it appears they're doing what they can to stay on good terms.

On Monday, Mid-Day announced that the actors attended a birthday party for their friend Aarti Shetty where they kept things civil even though they may not be in that much contact right now.

"Post their alleged break-up, Ranbir and Katrina have attended the same events, but always avoided crossing each other's paths," a source said. "They come face to face only during the shoot. But since Aarti is a common friend, they couldn't have missed attending her birthday. They were at the party at the same time and also spoke to each other cordially. What's more, they seemed pretty comfortable around each other."

Based on other details added, the two likely had a great time whether they were speaking to each other or not. The site mentioned that they stayed at the shindig for a long time and were some of the last members to leave.

"A few minutes after Ranbir drove out, the actress too hailed her chauffer and left," the source said.

Kaif and Kapoor have yet to announce if their break-up is true or not although they tend to keep details of their personal lives to themselves.
