It seems like things might be picking up in the relationship between Heidi Montag and her mother.

As Montag and her mom, Darlene Egelhoff, make appearances on reality series The Mother/Daughter Experiment: Celebrity Edition, they had a deep conversation with each other in a special video released last Saturday.

The two ask each other some personal questions that show how tense their connection was before, but how they're working on it now.

Egelhoff started off by asking her daughter what the worst advice is she ever received from her. Montag laughed and said she doesn't remember since that's all blocked out. But if she had to think of something it would probably be to not do reality television anymore.

Montag asked her mom what the most embarrassing thing is she's ever seen her do- that would be what happened on the first night of the show when Montag had that sick experience and threw up in the hall.

Eventually, Montag asked her mom about make-over advice. If her mom could change something about her daughter's features, it would be that she wears ponytails more often so she can show off her "beautiful face" more.

"And of course, you know that I think you're the most beautiful with no makeup on whatsoever," Montag's mother added.

This might come as a convenience for some since Egelhoff is known for not appreciating her daughter's decision to get plastic surgery in the past.

The video then got deeper when Egelhoff asked her daughter something she could take back. Montag said it would be the time when she cut her mom out of her life.

Based on their facial expressions, it's clear the ladies are sharing a profound connection at this point.
