Kathryn Dennis is dating again.

Following a messy split from Thomas Ravenel, the father of her two children, Kensington, 2, and St. Julien, 5 months, the Southern Charm star revealed she has "gone on a few dates," but one of them didn't go well.

"Thomas showed up to one. He saw me through the window," she told Bravo's The Daily Dish on Wednesday. "It's been really difficult to date because Charleston's small, everyone knows Thomas."

"I think I'm a little high maintenance when it comes to men now. They're gonna have to be a Mother Teresa-type man," she said, adding that she wants someone "honorable, like they respect you, they don't cheat on you, they love you. I mean, just the normal stuff... but it's very difficult to find in this day and age. There are so many distractions. But I like them tall, dark, and handsome. I'll say that."

Dennis also wants someone who accepts her children as his own.

"I absolutely love being a mom. I want a huge family. And definitely with the man that I marry," Dennis said. "I want my children to have a stepfather and then grow that family and make it feel whole. I don't know when this is all gonna happen, though. It's gonna take a long time for me to not be cynical and jaded about men."

As for her relationship with Ravenel, Dennis hopes they can one day get along.

"That's the goal," she explained. "I can do it, and I'm confident that God will work it out somehow. I think it's gonna take a lot of time for him. We don't communicate at all right now, so I don't know what his brain is doing, if he's moving in that direction. I hope so," she said. "I can't predict that because I have no idea. I couldn't predict anything the last three years. It was like curve balls everywhere, so I don't know. We'll see."
