While Ray J hosts a dating show after starring in multiple shows of his own, he speaks on whether he is ready to tie the knot with his fiancé, Princess Love.

Ray J helps potential couples find romance on WeTV’s Driven To Love. But when it comes to his own love life, it’s safe to say he’s got it down. He spoke on his past as “a player and a heister,” but made it clear he is a changed man.

“I’m engaged now,” he told Bossip recently. “I’m at a new place in life so I know what it takes to make that transition. Of course I got a long way to go. In my journey I’m starting to see things different.”

“It’s amazing. I like this side. It’s a much better side to see on. I didn’t know this side was so green. They say the grace ain’t greener on the other side… They lyin. So many blessings are happening. So many other things God is putting in our favor.”

Still, he doesn’t mind weeding out the wrong ones when it comes to hosting the dating series.

“At the same time I just wanna make sure I wanna smell out a rat. I can smell the BS. If somebody’s too church or too holy and they were sinning in the club last night, I’m gonna pull that out.”

He added that the same thing applies for the guys too.

“Some guys that are too shy or girls that are too shy… I try to help them feel comfortable and bring their real selves out so they can showcase their real quality…”

Still, he made it clear to say that it’s all in fun but hopes that viewers will take a look “at their own” relationships.
