They've been battling rumors their marriage was in trouble for a while, and are even reported to not be able to stand one another, but Sister Wives stars Kody and Meri Brown seem to be trying to put all the speculation about their marriage to rest by celebrating their 26th wedding anniversary together.

The couple, who ended their marriage legally in late 2014 so Kody could legally marry fourth wife Robyn and adopt her kids, celebrated their 26th year as a couple (they are still spiritually married), April 21, and even took a road trip together to celebrate with a few of the kids from their large family, including their daughter, Mariah. Meri documented the trip in a series of tweets on her Twitter page, and the couple appeared to be enjoying themselves while on their mini-break.

"Happy anniversary @realkodybrown. So much life, so many experiences, so many memories! #26Years," Meri wrote on her page before posting the photos.

The photos and the trip came not long after the trailer for the upcoming season of their show dropped and showed some of the fallout on their marriage, as well as the other relationships within their family, from Meri's catfishing scandal last year. She believed she was in an emotional affair with a man named Sam, who was later revealed to be a woman named Jackie Overton.

The posts also come after Robyn's former friend, Kendra Pollard-Parra, revealed to In Touch that the family was in their worst state yet, and even suggested that Kody flat out despised Meri these days.

"Kody thinks of Janelle as more of a friend-she's his buddy. Christine is just a brat and a problem to him," she said. "And Meri, Kody can't stand her."

The couple's decision to celebrate their anniversary--and Meri's sharing things about it publicly on social media now, are a stark contrast to the acknowledgement of their milestone 25th anniversary last year, which Kody, Janelle, Christine and Robyn all wrote about-but Meri ignored. At the time, her ignoring it was rumored to be due to some of the lingering upset over their divorce, though it is more likely because of her relationship with "Sam" that was going on at the time.

Sister Wives season 7 premieres May 8 at 8 p.m. on TLC.
