Things are reportedly worse than ever for the Brown family from Sister Wives, and a new claim alleges that family patriarch Kody Brown is going to take whatever steps he can to ensure their problems don't affect their popular show-including possibly dumping one of his current wives and taking on another to up ratings.

In a new interview with In Touch, a former friend of Robyn's, Kendra Pollard-Parra, reveals that behind-the-scenes, the family is at complete war with one another, and the drama is potentially putting their hit show at risk.

"It's worse than ever. The family is arguing constantly," Pollard-Parra says. "They pretend to be happy for the show, but the family is a mess."

A part of the mess if the relationship Kody has with each of his wives-and with the exception being Robyn, none of them are anything romantic or great anymore.

"Kody thinks of Janelle as more of a friend--she's his buddy. Christine is just a brat and a problem to him," she says. "And Meri, Kody can't stand her."

In addition, he spends his entire day lounging around in bed with Robyn, something Pollard-Parra says is nauseating, especially since Robyn caters to every last one of Kody's whims.

"Their relationship is quite nauseating. She treats Kody like a king, catering to his every need," she says.

In addition, she alleges, Kody is "definitely seeking another wife," and wants a younger one to take the place Robyn used to hold, since one that is younger would definitely be able to give him more children, something that Meri, Janelle and Christine all can't do, and Robyn may not be able to do much longer. In fact, she claims, he even tried to proposition her in the past.

"The first time he met me he said, 'You're so pretty. I'm looking for another wife!' Robyn was laughing, but I was like, 'Eww!'"

She also says that TLC is looking to pull the plug on the family's show after the seventh season, but Kody will do whatever he can to assure that won't happen, even if taking on a new wife and dropping one of his other ones is what it takes.

"He'll most likely drop one of the other wives," she says. "Kody's main goal is to keep the series going and to make money. He's a snake."

Sister Wives season seven premieres May 8 at 8 p.m. on TLC.
