A woman in Baxter, Tennessee called police when she confused the screams of a goat for a man asking for help.

The woman called 911 when she heard the scream, according to News Channel 5.

"They decided the sound saying it sounded like someone was dying or saying 'help," Putnam County Chief Deputy Jacky Ferley said, according to the channel.

When interviewed by the TV channel, Farley burst into laughs as he recalled the finding.

The goat's owner Carlos Mendez said the goat was stressed out because it had been separated from other goats, according to the report. He also said the goat's name is "Charcoal" and is 1-year-old.
