Bravo aired The Real Housewives Of Atlanta's season 5 reunion on Sunday and Porsha Stewart surprisingly defended her now estranged husband Kordell Stewart.

When Bravo host Andy Cohen, commended Kordell for defending his wife when she had a heated argument with Kenya Moore  and was kicked out at the former pageant winner's Black Hollywood icons party, Porsha said, "My husband is always gonna defend his wife."

Porsha stated that she actually "saved" Moore's assistant, Brandon, the night of the party because her husband "didn't touch anybody." Kordell almost had a physical altercation with Brandon after Moore kicked Porsha out.

Porsha's statement may have come as a shock to viewers at home when the episode aired because Kordell filed for divorce from the reality star a week later.

The reunion was taped on March 13, a week before Kordell filed for divorce from Porsha.

According to a report, Kordell did not attend the taping that day when they recorded a portion that featured the husbands of the Atlanta housewives.

Kordell filed a petition for divorce from Porsha on March 22 in Fulton County, Ga. A source close to Porsha said she was "completely blindsided" by the divorce.

Porsha has since filed countersuit of her own. Her divorce documents were obtained by RumorFix who gave details of her petition. Porsha agreed with Kordell's claim that their marriage is "irretrievably broken" but disagreed that she is capable of supporting herself. The former NFL star wrote that he should not provide alimony support to Porsha because she's an "able-bodied person earning income and is capable of supporting herself."

The couple had been married less than two years - they wed on May 21, 2011. Porsha, 31, tweeted a note of thanks on Tuesday for the outpour of support she has received
