Rumors about Apple's upcoming iPhone 7 have been abounding since its predecessor, the iPhone 6S, was launched last year. As the alleged date for the iPhone 7's reveal draws closer, the rumor mill has been in overdrive, with the latest speculations revolving around a leak from an Italian iPhone case manufacturer, which features an iPhone chassis with a quad-speaker system and a vertical camera layout.

As could be seen in the leak, which is discussed in the video below, the rumored iPhone 7 design features two speaker grilles on both the top and the bottom of the device. With the design in mind, many are speculating that Apple might be introducing a stereo speaker system on the iPhone 7, something which has already been introduced in the iPad Pro line.

What is also particularly interesting about the leak is the fact that the design features no 3.5 mm headphone jack, which is in line with the initial rumors about the device. Thus, if the iPhone 7 does indeed take away the standard headphone jack for the device, it would most probably create a set of headphones and other accessories which rely on the Lightning connector or Bluetooth technology.

As for the camera, what is particularly interesting about the new leaks is the fact that the layout of the lens and its corresponding flash is distinctly vertical. With the leaked design featuring a much larger hole for the camera, many are also speculating that the iPhone 7 would feature a significant improvement in its aperture.

Though the authenticity of these leaks could not be determined, many iPhone fans are stating that among all the rumors and images which have emerged about the upcoming device, this particular leak is among the most believable. After all, both the quad speaker design and the vertical camera layout has already been done by Apple on its iPad Pro 9.7, which was released earlier this year. Thus, featuring the same innovations on its flagship smartphone would actually make a lot of sense.

With the iPhone 7 reveal expected to be held within the next few months, the hype for Apple's latest device has reached new heights.
