Kelly Dodd has officially joined the cast of The Real Housewives of Orange County.

Although a few ladies were rumored to be joining the show for season 11, Dodd has since been confirmed as the only new housewife being added to the show.

"The show's returning stars are Vicki Gunvalson, Tamra Judge, Heather Dubrow, Shannon Beador and Meghan King Edmonds," Us Weekly confirmed on Monday, and "the newest Housewife is Kelly Dodd, who is best friends with King and has a 9-year-old daughter, Jolie, with husband Michael."

While the magazine claimed Dodd was King's best friend, it's hard to say how close they actually are as Dodd doesn't appear to have shared any photos of herself and King on Instagram or Facebook. She has however, interacted with both Heather Dubrow and Lizzie Rovsek, on Instagram in recent weeks.

The first reports of Dodd's addition to the show began surfacing in March. At the time, Us Weekly broke news of her possible role on season 11.

"Producers have added Corona Del Mar, California, resident Kelly Meza-Dodd to the Real Housewives of Orange County cast," a source close to the cast revealed.

Dodd "is married to Michael Dodd and they share one child together," the magazine added. "Dodd is the COO of Kiss Me Mirrors, a company based out of Newport Beach, California, and her husband, 58, was formerly president of LeapFrog Enterprises Inc."

Around the time news of Dodd's addition to the show was revealed, she made an appearance at The Nice Guy in West Hollywood, Calif. where she made a complete fool of herself for the cameras.

After being asked if she liked black guys, Dodd told TMZ, "I don't like black guys, I don't even know any black guys."

She then went on to say that she didn't care about her husband and that she had her M.B.A., which she revealed stood for "married but available."

After the footage was released, Dodd apologized for her behavior, telling the outlet, "I am truly embarrassed. There is no excuse for bad behavior or comments that offend anyone. That video does not represent who I really am and I apologize for acting irresponsibly."
