A woman woke up from a five year long coma and her first words were "I want to go to a Bob Seger concert," according to Mlive.com.

Today, her request was granted as she will be attending Seger's concert in The Palace of Auburn Hills in Detroit, Michigan from his "2013 Rock and Roll Never Forgets Tour."

Evie Branan, 79, from Flint Township, Mich., fell into a coma after suffering a stroke in 2007. She woke up in May 2011 and has been waiting two years to see Seger perform, accoridng to MLive.com.

"Why would I say that?" Branan told the paper laughing. "Maybe my last thoughts were Bob Seger before I had my stroke."

The staff at the hospital where she was taken care of when she was in a coma reportedly bought the tickets for her to attend the concert and even rented a limo for the night.

The band is reportedly going to throw a party after today's show but it is uncertain whether Seger himself will be at the party, according to the paper. Seger

The rock and roll singer, 57 and musician was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2004 and the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2012.
