Cast members from The Fosters opened up on what can be expected in the fourth season.

On Friday, Clevver posted interviews with the actors from the Freeform drama who made it clear that the premiere episode for Season 4 is definitely not one to miss out on. Cierra Ramirez, who plays Mariana, pointed out that the scene with Nick watching her kiss Mat will create something pretty unbelievable.

"You are in for a crazy time," Ramirez said. "Honestly, it's just...you were left with such a cliffhanger on Season 3B's finale. I mean, Nick saw something that he should have definitely not seen and it's definitely going to reflect on what happens this upcoming season."

The actress also mentioned how much she enjoys the show covering real-life issues that don't really get seen on the screen.

"It just amazes me. These writers are so amazing, they just continue to hit topics that are so universal, but aren't really common on TV," she said. "So it was really fun to kind of get the script and see that that's where we were headed."

David Lambert, who plays Brandon, dished on what's next for his character now that he's an official adult.

"Brandon turned 18 and then suddenly felt like he was a man," Lambert said. "And so you're just seeing him basically make all these terrible decisions trying to be a grown-up and biting off way more than he can chew with his relationship with Cortney and her kid and what that means for him."

The first episode will embark upon the issue of gun violence taking place in school, something that Danny Nucci (Mike) mentioned is becoming more aware through more people.

"I think it's progressed," he said. "Or at least we're hearing about it more."
