Boston Marathon Bomb VIDEO, SUSPECT: Police in Hunt for Dark Skinned Male With Hoodie, Burned Saudi Man Held
Police are investigating possible suspects of the horrific Boston Marathon bombing on April 16 that left three dead and 144 injured.
Detectives are searching for a hooded ‘man in black’ who was hanging around suspiciously near the finish line moments before the bombs went off.

Another man who was driving erratically near state police barracks have been questioned while a third man of Saudi origin whose legs had been burned during the attack is under police guard in hospital. The man is being held after acting suspiciously before a civilian tackled him to the ground.
Bomb disposal officers and FBI entered the apartment of the man driving erratically in the suburb of Revere. Boston Police K-9 units, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, and Homeland Security investigated the apartment yesterday in search for clues. Police left with several brown paper bags full of evidence, according to DailyMail.
It is not known who is responsible for the attacks.
Police announced Monday that they were searching for a ‘dark-skinned or black male’ wearing a dark hoodie and a backpack but it is not yet known whether he had been caught. The man, who may be foreign because of his accent, was attempting to gain entry to the restricted area near the finish line before he was turned away.
The man whose legs had been burned and acted suspiciously is believed to be a 20-year-old Saudi national who is in the country on a student visa, according to news reports.
However, no one has been labeled as a suspect as of yet.
There is speculation that the attack is more of a right-wing or domestic terrorist attack rather than from Al Qaida, due to a lack of a suicide bomber.
Richard Barrett, former United Nations co-ordinator for the al Qaida and Taliban monitoring team, said: “At the moment it looks more likely that it was a right-wing terrorist incident, rather than an al Qaida attack because of the size of the devices.”
Two bombs went off just before 3 p.m. yesterday near the finish line of the Boston Marathon.
The devastating scenes at the Boston Marathon have shown injured people being carried away from the scene of the explosions, which took place near the finish line of the marathon route.
Witnesses reported that two loud bangs were heard near the finish line, and video footage can be seen at the moment of the explosions with a big fireball seen coming from one of the buildings to the side of the road.
Smoke could be seen coming from the Marathon Sports store and marathon officials were seen pulling at some metal railings that were twisted and piled on the ground, seemingly to free some people under them. Other eye witnesses reported a bloody scene, with some victims being very seriously injured near the scenes of the explosions.
Police are being deployed to major landmarks in other large cities across the United States, including New York City, as fears of a possible terrorist attack emerge.
