Many were clapping it up for Future after he seemed to make a peaceful move in his drama with Ciara when word spread that he dropped his lawsuit against her. But now the truth has come out and he might not be so ready for peace after all.

Future filed a $15 million countersuit against Ciara after she filed legal action following one of his many social media rants about her. Ciara claimed that his slander toward her cost her money in her career. Future then submitted his own lawsuit and said Ciara’s career was suffering long before he said anything. But while reports said that Future decided to drop his lawsuit against Ciara, new rumors say a judge actually dismissed it and tossed it out, according to Hip Hollywood recently.

But it goes further than that as the dismissal was said to take place “with prejudice;” which bans Future from being able to sue Ciara for the same thing.

Interestingly enough, this new development could be why Ciara has not dropped her lawsuit against Future.

But it’s not all bad for the rapper. He did win in the latest custody battle when it comes to his and Ciara’s two-year-old son baby Future. Rumor has it that Ciara wanted a judge to give her sole custody of the child. Instead, Future and Ciara were granted joint custody that allows Future to see the tot two times a month.
