Corey Simms shared a filming photo over the weekend, and now, fans are wondering if Teen Mom 2 season eight is already in production.

Although MTV has remained silent in regard to the possibly upcoming season of Teen Mom 2, Simms and his co-stars, Jo Rivera, Nathan Griffith and Gary Shirley were together in West Virginia days ago with a filming crew.

After Simms shared the photo on Twitter, Rivera confirmed that the filming session took place in Simms' home state of West Virginia while Shirley later posted a photo of the floods in the area. However, the filming session was likely not a Teen Mom 2 scene due to the fact that Shirley is currently part of the original cast of Teen Mom.

That said, there have been reports regarding th eighth season of Teen Mom 2.

In April, The Ashley's Reality Roundup confirmed the series' eighth season was happening -- and already filming.

"The cast is currently filming Season 8. In fact, they never stopped filming following the end of Season 7, so Season 8 will pick up right where Season 7 left off," the outlet revealed. "Season 8 should be full of drama. It will likely cover Chelsea’s wedding to Cole DeBoer (although Chelsea will not be allowing MTV to film the actual wedding for the show). It will also cover Javi Marroquin‘s homecoming (although he is still on deployment for several more months), Jenelle‘s recent court drama and more!"

According to the report, all four female cast members, including Jenelle Evans, Leah Messer, Kailyn Lowry and Chelsea Houska, have signed on to appear on the series, but at the time of the outlet's post, it was noted that the roles of Jeremy Calvert and Adam Lind would likely not be seen.
