White Cap Suspect Bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev: LIVE COVERAGE VIDEO FEED as Police Surround House; Shootout Expected?
Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, the white cap suspect who is still at large is the younger brother of Tamerlan Tsarnaev, who had been shot dead during in a shootout earlier today.
19-year-old Dzhokhar is believed to be in on the run, but CNN is reporting that police has surrounded a house in Watertown, Mass.
News coverage shows police officers with their guns drawn -possibly waiting for the suspect to emerge. The whole city of Boston is in lockdown, with schools being closed and the Harvard University community has been warned to stay indoors.
Dzhokhar and Tamerlan Tsarnaev are brothers from Chechnya and have been in the states for at least 10 years..
The suspects killed a police officer at the MIT campus last night.
The shooting reportedly took place at 10:48 PM Thursday night. Shots were reportedly fired near Building 32 on the campus of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
The campus has alerted the campus community with the following message late Thursday night:
At 10:48 PM today gunshots were reported near Building 32 (Stata) which is currently surrounded by responding agencies. The area is cordoned off. Please stay clear of area until further notice. Unknown if injuries have occurred.. Although the situation is considered active and extremely dangerous, an investigation is underway. Updates will be provided at this site when more information becomes available.
The FBI released two pictures of the two suspects in the Boston Marathon Bombing and a surveillance video on Thursday and within 12 hours the suspects have been identified, with one being killed and another believed to be in the house in Watertown.
