Justin Bieber must have really missed Selena Gomez since they their confirmed split earlier this year. 

When Bieber, 19, was photographed in Amsterdam, paparazzi took pictures of the Canadian crooner holding his cellphone. Upon closer inspection of the candid pics they noticed that the teen heartthrob has a picture of Gomez as the screensaver on his cellphone.

The picture of Gomez, 20, was taken during a photo and video shoot in Palmdale, Calif. on March 4. In the image, the former Disney star is glamourous - she is wearing a blue pleated dress with cut-out details that features sheer white panels.

On Thursday, reports circulated that Gomez flew to Oslo, Norway to be with her ex-boyfriend for one of his concerts. He is overseas for the European leg of his Never Say Never tour. Reports suggested that they may be rekindling their romance because Gomez did not have any professional commitments there.

On Friday, UsWeekly reported that sources confirmed that Gomez did fly to Oslo to be with Bieber. The website published a photo the couple took together backstage at his show. According to insiders, when Bieber completed his set, Gomez was waiting for him backstage.

"They have a crazy connection," a source told UsWeekly. "They just can't seem to break their connection. It can be intense."

Gomez appeared on Ellen this week and gave the impression that it was over with the Boyfriend singer. She performed her new single, Come & Get It. Watch the video
