A fan attracted attention during a taping of The Voice when she yelled out distracting comments and blew on a whistle at the singing show's studio in Burbank, Calif.

"The woman was blowing her whistle and yelling Usher’s name,” a source told the New York Post. Another witness said the woman was “pointing at Usher and exclaiming, ‘I want you!’" over and over again.

The fan was asked to calm down but a security guard removed her from the NBC studio after she refused to stop.

"The security people escorted her out to the street," said a source, adding that "Usher took the incident in his stride and the show continued. It was at the end of the first half of the day, right before lunch, so taping was not delayed."

Usher has been working hard with his team, hoping that one of his contestants will win this season. He has recruited Pharrell Williams to assist with mentoring and coaching "Team Usher."

This season's panel of judges also includes Adam Levine, Shakira and country music star Blake Shelton.

Usher is filling in on the American format for Cee Lo Green, while Shakira has replaced Christina Aguilera.

The Voice returns Monday at 8 p.m EST on NBC.
