The United States has scored big time at the Olympics in gymnastics.

On Tuesday, BBC pointed out that the USA team got a score of 184.897 where Russia was behind for the silver medal at 176.688. The bronze medals went to China and Japan.

The site also mentioned that the USA won three world crowns in 2011, 2014 and 2015. Apparently, Simone Biles should be the one to thank for this as she's been dominating the sport. She also plans to become the first gymnast to win five medals at a single Olympics Games.

With a breathtaking performance on the floor, she said, "It's everything and more than I'd hoped it would be."

"It didn't feel like the Olympics," Biles added. "That helped us. It felt like one more routine and we kept calm."

It still appears there might be a battle with the USA and the British since both have been successful, says BBC Sport gymnastics expert Christine Still.

"The British have performed fantastically well," Still said. "There have been a few ups and downs in the championships, but they have not let it affect them. They have carried on fighting right through and gave a great performance today. What a fantastic final, some great gymnastics going on. This has been truly great. USA did not disappoint and there will be talk if this is the greatest team ever."
