A new rumor has circulated around the messy split between Johnny Depp and Amber Heard.

There was apparently some gossip claiming that Heard was cheating on her husband with actor Billy Bob Thornton. According to Monday's report from People, it was claimed that Depp accused the actress of having an affair with him.

But luckily, someone told the site that this is not the case.

"Billy Bob definitely, absolutely did not have an affair with Amber," the source said.

This news follows the reports that Depp apparently had his finger butchered after an argument with his wife.

There was a video released that allegedly shows Depp throwing a fit at his wife in the kitchen. He seemingly threw a wine glass and constantly swore where Heard supposedly mentions what sounds like a drinking problem.

LA family law expert Steve Mindel spoke to People about the video and how it can damage the couple as they proceed with ending their marriage. It turns out there might be more to this video than what it appears to be since sources close to Depp said it's been "heavily edited."

"Because video can be manipulated, the court needs to describe if it's authentic," Mindel explained. "So whoever shot the video, allegedly Heard in the case, has to be able to explain how they shot it and all the little things that have been done to it since. There's a lot you can do to change the video, some people still don't believe we landed on the moon."

So what could happen if the video is indeed authentic?

"The second step is to sort out privacy issues," Mindel said. "We have a right to privacy, but not in public spaces. So if you're inside your house, you have the right to privacy. But if you're on the street yelling at your wife or husband, that probably isn't protected."
