Meghan King Edmonds is currently expecting her first child, but it wasn't easy getting there.

In addition to having to undergo in-vitro fertilization due to her husband's decision to have a vastectomy years ago, the Real Housewives of Orange County star was forced to give Jim an ultimatum when it came to starting a family.

According to an OK! Magazine report on Sunday, Edmonds recently revealed that she gave her husband the choice of either having a child with her or divorcing.

Throughout the 11th season of The Real Housewives of Orange County, Edmonds has expressed her concern in her husband's lack of interest in her IVF struggles and written about her emotional journey in her Bravo TV blog.

“It is really frustrating to me that Jimmy doesn’t act more interested in the IVF process, especially considering that it has consumed my life,” Edmonds recently wrote to fans. “I understand that it can be an overwhelming process and he had to be in Florida for spring training during most of it, but I was on a lot of hormones and was very emotional. It definitely would’ve been nice to have him pay more attention to the process, but that didn’t mean he wasn’t excited for us to have a baby.”
