Leah Messer posted a video of her ex-husband, Jeremy Calvert, on Instagram on Monday.

Following a report which claimed Calvert had been forced to return to filming on Teen Mom 2 due to his contract with MTV, Messer confirmed the news with a clip of Calvert and their 3-year-old daughter, Adalynn.

"Her surprise today was DADDY! Made mommy all emotional !! So happy for my baby!!!" Messer wrote in the caption of the short clip, which featured Adalynn being surprised by Calvert, who had been out of town working.

Last week, The Ashley's Reality Roundup revealed Calvert and his fellow Teen Mom 2 dad, Adam Lind, were filming season 7B.

“Both guys signed on for Season 7, and wanted out while filming last season,” their source explained. “Neither planned to do any more episodes after that, but MTV kind of pulled a fast one on them and simply extended the season. Instead of the new season being Season 8, it is now Season 7B, which means there were no new contracts signed.”

“It’s unavoidable,” the source added. “They can’t get out of it because they already signed, knowing that it was a possibility that the season would be extended. It happened once before to the cast.”

Leah Messer and her family are currently in production on the upcoming season of Teen Mom 2, which is expected to premiere at the end of this year or early next year.
