Clash of Clans fans have been waiting for an update for a pretty long time. Under the onslaught of mobile gaming juggernauts such as Pokemon GO, the classic strategy game is in dire need of an update, and its developer, Supercell, has teased fans over the last few months with a massive patch scheduled to be rolled out soon.

Initial speculations pointed to a Clash of Clans September 2016 update. Alas, the month passed and no such patch was released. However, if recent announcements from Supercell itself are to be believed, it would seem like the much-awaited update might actually see the light of day as early as next week.

Clash of Clans October Update Sneak Peek

Welcome news was dropped in the official Clash of Clans forums, with Supercell staff Anoushka stating that if things go according to schedule, the Sneak Peek for the upcoming update might roll out sometime next week.

"If all goes according to plan, sneak peeks will start next week, so please hang in there a little longer," the Supercell staff stated.

With this announcement in mind, it would be completely possible for Supercell to roll out the all-important Clash of Clans update around October 4 or 5.

Clash of Clans October Update Release Date

With the announcement of a Sneak Peek all but confirmed for next week, speculations among fans are high as to when the actual rollout of the highly-anticipated update would happen. Considering Supercell's previous updates, however, there is a good chance that the official rollout of the Clash of Clans update would happen around October 11.

If any leaks and rumors are any indication, these speculations might very well prove to be accurate. For one, Chief spAnser, a Redditor and avid Clash of Clans fan, noted that Supercell has already updated its servers to 8.481x, which is the server that the developer uses when updates are about to be implemented.

It took a long time, but it seems like the wait for the highly-anticipated Clash of Clans update might be over soon.
