For the first time during season 16 of Dancing with the Stars, a contestant scored the perfect score - a 30 out of 30.

Zendaya Coleman earned the highest score on Monday for her trio dance number with two dance partners, Val Chmerkovskiy and Gleb Savchenko.

"The three of you came together. What I loved, you became the star," the show's most critical judge, Len Goodman, told the Disney star. "The guys gave up their talent to make you a star."

"All the attention was drawn to you, It was a star turn - sizzling and dazzling and amazing!" said fellow judge Bruno Tonioli.

Carrie Ann Inaba said she "loved the whole thing."

"You are the queen of the salsa," she told the teen. "The way you bring all the styles together and you nailed it. I loved the choreography...You guys were just faaaaabulous."

The contestants performed two dance routines on Monday's live broadcast- one regular and a second that required them to add another dance partner for a trio ensemble. Coleman received another high score on Monday - a 28 for her foxtrot. She lead the night with a total of 58 out of 60 points for both routines.

DWTS contestant Kellie Pickler's paso doble dance with partner Derek Hough earned less praise from Goodman, who said he was "expecting more than flashing lights and crashing music."

The British dance expert called their routine "a hodgepodge of moves just out there to titillate the taste buds."

"I can't believe it, this girl is so talented!" Goodman yelled at her. "I don't want to see flashing lights, crashing music - I wanted a paso doble!"

Pickler earned a 27 out of 30 points for both of her routines for a total score of 54 out of 60. Pickler and Hough were joined by Tristan McManus for their trio.

Sean Lowe and Peta Murgatroyd earned 21 out of 30 for both of their dance numbers, for a total of 42 out of 60 points. Aly Raisman together with her partner Mark Ballas earned 29 out of 30 for their regular routine and 27 out of 30 for their trio number.
