Russell Wilson is going to be a daddy, and he couldn't be more excited.

During a recent interview, the Seattle Seahawks quarterback and husband to singer Ciara spoke out about his wife's pregnancy and revealed he's had a lot of support from his teammates both on the field and off.

"It’s obviously an exciting thing, obviously for me and C, it’s exciting," Wilson said, according to a report last week by ESPN. "It’s a blessing. That’s for sure. And to have a child is an amazing, probably the biggest miracle there is in the world, so I’m excited about that."

Both Wilson and Ciara announced their baby news on Instagram and shared a photo of the singer's baby bump.

"I was telling Tater [quarterbacks coach Carl Smith] and some other people, if I can just be half the dad my dad was to me, I’m doing something pretty good. So I just think constantly loving and constantly being there. I am a stepdad too, so it’s the same thing there. You just love unconditionally, love at all costs. And that’s the best thing about it," he continued.

Wilson acts as stepdad to Ciara's 2-year-old son with Future.

As for which teammates he'd be leaning on for advice, Wilson named several.

"Oh man, there’s a lot of guys," Wilson said. "Guys like Cliff Avril, Michael Bennett, you really look up to those guys. They’re such good parents. There’s so many different guys. Earl [Thomas], Richard Sherman, there’s a lot of guys."
