Singer and model Ciara and her new husband Seattle Seahawks superstar Russell Wilson have been laying low since they tied the knot in early July. Now, Ciara has gushed about married life with the NFL star.

“Married life is the best,” she told E! News recently. “It’s definitely life-changing, and you do feel a difference between the stages of being boyfriend and girlfriend to engaged to actually being married. You feel the defitinion of what ‘being one’ is, and it’s really cool. Nothing compares to what this feels like.”

She added that she feels like her life has a little more stability as they get ready to celebrate their two month anniversary.

“My new life changes that have happened with my son and being married puts more pep in my step because the foundation of my life is solid. My foundation of my life is love, and I believe when you have love you can conquer anything in the world. Love breeds confidence. I feel the most confident self that I’ve ever been, and with that being said I feel supercharged and ready for my task ahead.”

Ciara and Wilson went public with their relationship in April of last year. He popped the question during a vacation this past March and they tied the knot in a castle in England on Wednesday July 6.

 Wilson has also developed a special bond with Ciara’s son Baby Future, whose father is rapper Future.
