To fuel the excitement among Pokemon Go players, Niantic has revealed its plan to add 100 more Pokemon characters in the game.

This addition of new characters is obviously a good news for those who already captured the previous 151 Pokemons and are looking for more challenge and adventure.

With these upcoming new characters, the Pokémon game would definitely add diversity that would engage the users and make the game more fun and challenging.

According to Forbes, Niantic is one step closer to the launching of Pokémon Go Generation 2, which will include these 100 new characters.

The step seems to be evident with the codes which are inside the application recently.

In addition, for those who will just start with Pokemon Go now, they will be able to catch from this new range of Pokemons,  #152 Chikorita to #251 Celebi, without even pushing their hands to the first-gen Pokemon animals.

As per a report by GameNGuide, there are  more than 700 Pokemon characters that exist but only 100 of them made it to the cut for the new generation run.

It is still not clear whether or not Niantic has the plan to introduce more animals later when this generation will hit the ground. However, players can now satisfy their desires and be ready to chase this new range of 100 charmers.

Niantic, however, remained silent on the official date for the release of these new characters.

But as the codes are already reflecting on the application as well as on their official websites, it is expected to be revealed very, very soon.
