"Hawaii Five-O" is one of America's most watched television shows of all time.This action-drama series is now airing its seventh season on CBS.One of the most favorite characters in the series is Dr. Max Bergman,the well-respected medical expert in Honolulu. The role is portrayed by the Japanese actor Masi Oka but how true are the speculations that the actor will bid goodbye to the show? 

According to a report posted by EW, After seven seasons, the Japanese actor will be leaving the show and will no longer be a part of the regular cast of the series. Oka became a part of the show since the first season was aired. His role as Dr. Bergman is one of the recurring characters at first and later on,his role turned out to be a regular character on the TV series. The show is now airing its seventh season and the fans will no longer see Doctor Bergman on the upcoming episodes.

On another report posted by Deadline,the last appearance of Masi Oka on the show will be on the upcoming 13th episode. On the latest episode of the series, Doctor Bergman will migrate to Africa after his wedding. In an exclusive interview Masi Oka revealed that he decided to leave the show because he felt that his character "Max" had run its course.So it's natural that his role for the show has to end. He added that the other reason why he is leaving the show is the conflict on his schedule.

Masi Oka is a great actor. He appeared on some popular American TV series like "Jobs", "Friends With Benefits" and "Heroes" where he played the remarkable character, Hiro Nakamura. The character was reprised by him on the sequel "Heroes Reborn" last year.
